Shaun started cub scouts today which began a whole new adventure for our family. You should have seen me at the boy scout store trying to find everything he needed for his uniform. They have badges for EVERYTHING! Cha ching, cha ching. Notice that his uniform doesn't have any patches on it yet. Can you believe they're not iron on? I'm going to have to break out the needle and thread. Poor kid, it might take me a month per patch :) He has been looking forward to this day for such a long time and was beaming with excitement. He also got to build a boat tonight that he'll race at the Rain-gutter Regatta next week at pack meeting. YIKES, den meeting, pack meeting, wolves, bears, cubs, it's all foreign to me. Greg's wishing he had paid more attention all those years ago.

Shaun's boat.

Cute - you'll be the best scout mom! Jake and I have struck a deal as far as Scouts goes...I'll be in charge of Cub Scouts as long as he does all Eagle Scout stuff. I think I got the better end of that bargain!
Camille is nice to at least do Cub Scouts. I've told Tony I'll deal w/ our daughters and all their crap but I'll have nothing to do w/ scouting. Worst church calling to date was when I was Cub Scout Committee Chair and I was prego w/ our 2nd little girl. Guess it was a filler calling. He'll have so much fun though!
ahh...scouts. I was laughing at your comments about Greg wishing he had paid attention. I know Ty is going to feel the same way when it comes to Jax. He will be the kids only hope though, seeing as how I know nothing. Shaun is such a cute thing in his uniform. Thanks so much for posting - we love checking in with your family.

Sorry -
I had one more thing to say!
Kim I can't believe you are 40! My mom and I were talking about our shock and amazement that you are such an old woman. You seem so young! It looks like you had a WONDERFUL day!
