Thanksgiving Poems

Shea loves to write poetry and keep a notebook in her room that she often writes in during the night. She wrote me this sweet poem and recited it to me Thanksgiving morning. I LOVE this girl and have no idea how I got lucky enough to have her as my daughter!!!!!

Mom,

Thank you for all you do,

to brighten my life each day.

Just a small smile will last for a while,

when you're smiling my way.

Thanks for your care,

Something you share,

I'm grateful for all that you do.

Looking to see,

I wish I could be,

as great of a person as you.

A Thanksgiving Card From Shane





A little girl in Shane's class started calling him "Shaney" at the beginning of the year and now he thinks it's pretty cool. He's even started signing his name that way on all of his schoolwork. Nice.
